You're too slow!
So there really isn't anything going on today, I just thought I'd make a quick post. Everyone might be wondering why "Archimedes" is one of my tags. The reason is because of Sonic the Hedgehog. No, really. There is a comic book published by Archie comics (yes, the makers of Archie make a Sonic comic!) that I used to read when I was younger. Archimedes was (or is) a fire ant that became Knuckles' friend. I just always liked the name, and it's kind of my own way of mentioning the comic. That's all for now!

It's my Birthday!
There's really nothing else to post about, I'm just excited! I'm 27 years old. Does that make me an old man? :(. I don't care! I don't plan on being "old" until I'm at least 97!

So why am I writing today? I'm writing today because I have a blog! (duh) and because I had a nightmare. I haven't actually had one in a loooong time, so this stood out. Plus it was terrifying, so that kind of helped to make it memorable.
Basically, I was in my room, by myself as always, when suddenly a portal (with a blue rim, just like the one from Portal 1 and 2) opened in my bed. For some unknown reason, I flung myself at it and fell headfirst into total darkness. I landed, strangely enough, on my feet, standing in a swamp. There was water every where, and I couldn't really see that well because the sun was blocked out by the tall trees.
The "view" I had was more like a camera, and I could see myself, and the "camera" swivled around me like in a Michael Bay movie. I heard a branch snap and I turned, and there was nothing there. Then suddenly the water around me exploded and I found myself being dragged under the water of the swamp, by like a croc or something I guess.
So I'm splashing around and freaking out when suddenly something grabs me. It was something long and slender, like a ribbon or something, and it grabs my arm and yanks me pretty forcefully out of the water. I fly back like thirty feet and land, all the while, the crocs or whatever cause the water to boil and slosh. I go to turn around and see what saved me when suddenly, I'm back in my room...only I can't move.
Now, I've never had sleep paralysis, and I believe that I still hold that distinction. I think I was asleep the whole time but one of my friends said I was proably awake. I remember being stuck, literally stuck to bed, unable to move, and barely able to breathe. I could feel that someone was watching me, that someone was there in the room with me. It was some kind of dark presence, some kind of evil force in my mind. It almost seemed to be holding me down, and I could see this dark shape moving towards me. I couldn't make any of it out, and then just as I thought I had glimsped something like eyes, the whole room burst into flame. That's how I know I was sleeping, because my room isn't on fire and is just fine.
I woke up after that, terrified. I hate waking up from dreams like that, you always feel like whatever you just experienced happened, and that feeling stays with you a bit. Luckily I'm a pretty sound sleeper and hard to spook so I caught my breath, relaxed and laid back down. My dog was curled up at my feet, and he didn't even seem to notice I was distressed and wake me up. So much for animal senses, eh?
Tomorrow is my birthday! I'm so excited!

Catching up on time...
So basically I can't find the rest of my previous blog, but it's ok because it ended after we went to the haunted house. I'll sum up what happened in the following months:
Jen and I went to the haunted house, and although she kept saying she thought she was being watched, we never found anything. The place was just an old building, falling apart, graffiti everywhere. The rest of November was basically uneventful. Jen stopped calling me about midway through, but I didn't expect a girl that pretty to stick around. I'm ok, though, we didn't really become anything more than friends, and I'd only known her a few weeks. I had Thanksgiving with my family, got to go visit my brother near North Dallas, and just had a generally good time.
Now, it's December, and it's nearing the next great part of the year! It's almost Christmas, and I'm excited! My family is poor, so I don't think I'm gonna get much, but I can't wait to see what I end up with! I've got my parent's presents already, and now its just time to wait! Sorry there's nothing to this blog other than just an update, but next time maybe I'll have more!

So, you've probably noticed by now that my updates are not consistent to when I created my blog. There's a reason for that. I had started a blog waaay back when, and even began updating it...but it got deleted somehow. I still have all the entries because I saved them all to wordpad before posting them, since I was raised on message boards losing my posts. I don't do that anymore, but at least I have all my old blogs.
So basically, you'll see these posted with the time of their original posting, and then I'll eventually get caught back up to normal time. But yeah, that's just an informational post. I played around with the time on this one as well, just for the heck of it :D
Also, I have now changed my name to Wind Lion, because I still love Lions, and also the wind! Plus, it sounds alot less stupid :P

Halloween is over, but the creeeeepy is just beginning!
So, I had a great Halloween, I was able to go to this "haunted house" park in Terrel where there were all these different attractions! It was pretty neat, the "haunted manor" was really fun. It was kind of high priced though, thirty bucks for one trip through each "house." If I'd bought it online I could've gone as much as I wanted...but oh well. Fun was had by all, especially me, when I met a GIRL!
They do exist! As luck would have it, I ran into the only attractive, single, low standards having nerd in the entire park. I stumbled through a few bits of small talk with her when she surprised me by revealing she likes anime! We got to talking and we hit it off! I don't really see a need for cell phones and my only main phone is an internet one, so I got her Facebook name, and then we went around the park together!
Her real name is Jen, but for blog purposes I shall call her...um, Jen. She doesn't care if the internet knows her name or not (brave girl!) At 5'3, she's only a little shorter than I am and she's from Texas, and she's got long brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing jeans and a baggy t-shirt when I met her, but even with that, you could say she came from the Hill Country, if you know what I mean. (she has huge...tracts of land!) Luckily she doesn't read this blog, hehe :D. (Course...no one else does either.) Anyway, she's a sweet girl and we've been chatting the last few says over facebook, and she shares my love of haunted houses!
She said that she knows of one here around DFW, and she'll take me to it in a couple of days! So to reiterate, hot chick(Sorry Jen!), alone time, haunted house...there's nothing in that fragmented sentence I find displeasing! I'm kind of afraid, oh non existent readers! I haven't had a girlfriend since I was about fourteen, and it ended badly! I don't even really know what to do (well, you know what I mean) or say to her. I'm sure eventually she's gonna find out what a messed up slob I am, and break it off with me for some more muscly nerd (I'm sure they exist.) But until then, I'm gonna have fun actually having a friend that's a girl for once! I'll update whenever I can with more details! EXCITED!

It's almost here!
SHHH, it's early! Or late at night, whichever you prefer. But yeah, it's almost Halloween! I'm excited! I love going to haunted houses and stuff, though I don't think I'd ever go to a real one! A real haunting would probably scare the crap out of me, and I'd go running for cover, haha.
I actually don't have a mask to wear, or a costume or anything, because I'm broke and living here by myself. My parents help pay the bills, but only up to what I can't support myself. It gives me a bit of spending money but mostly all my cash goes towards bills. KFC isn't exactly the best way to get ahead in life...I should have finished college.
Anyway, so I've decided that I'll tell you all a creeeepy story, since it's Halloween. Did I mention I like this holiday? Ok, so this happened back when my dad and mom lived here. I worked nights then as well, so I always came home around ten or eleven pm. I'd watch Letterman and then a recorded Leno (or the other way around) do their monologues, and then my parents went to bed. They slept in the living room, and I got the big bedroom in the back!
I'd stay up late at night posting on message boards, watching anime, and being a general nerd. We didn't have high speed internet then, so you can imagine how long it took me to watch an episode of Fullmetal Alchemist (an anime) on youtube. I remember it was like a three hour wait until it loaded! Anyway, on with the story. So I'd stay up late at night and play games and watch TV and stuff, and then I'd go to bed.
The bathroom is located right outside my bedroom door, inside a short hallway that leads into the living room. I had developed a habit of looking down the hall at our big screen TV (the old projector kind) and VCR clock. I don't know why I did, but it always just put me at ease. I guess I liked seeing the time or something. Anyway, there was never anything there, of course...until one night...dun dun duuuun!
Basically one night I went to the bathroom and looked down the hall like usual. Only instead of the usual peaceful scene, I found a strange sight. The numbers were partially covered up! It had to be the cat, I told myself. I turned around to find said cat in my room. I looked back down the hall, and it was still there. Some shadow was blocking the light from the VCR clock. It took me about a minute to finally register what that meant: Someone was in my house! (The irony of it all, right?)
Anyway, I freeze, and he (or she) freezes. He knows I'm looking at him, and I know that he knows. It's like he thought he might blend into the shadows if he stayed still long enough. In the gloom, I tried to decide what to do. I could scream and wake my parents, but that could get all of us shot, and plus I'd look like a pansy. I decided to do the "smart" thing, and just continued to stare like a deer in the headlights. The figure was shrouded by the darkness that he stood in, and all I could make out was that he had a round, bald head. My dad fits that description, so for a moment I thought it was him.
We just stand there, staring at each other. I begin to tell myself it's just an illusion, that I'm seeing nothing. Then the shadow moves across the living room, bringing the numbers on the VCR display back into sight. I mumble something about "forgetting the dog's water bowl" and nope all the way back to my room, where I grab my katana. I'm determined to corner this guy and wake my dad, who sleeps with a gun (inb4loltypicalTexans) because he was in Vietnam.
As I enter the hallway, headed for the living room, I swear I hear the front door close. Nothing moves in the living room. I scour the area from the edge of the bathroom door, and find no intruder. That seemed to be that. In the morning, I asked my dad if he had gotten up in the middle of the night or something, and he said no. I told him what happened and he just laughed it off, cause nothing was taken and there were no footprints in the carpet or anything showing that someone had walked on it recently. He figured it was just my imagination, but I know I saw something. From that night on I brought a knife with me to the bathroom everytime I went.
So there! That's my "scary Halloween tale" for all of you! It really happened, and it was creepy enough that you think I'd never want to experience anything scary again but it was also kind of cool! It has a real "ghost" feel to it, and it was fun to talk about with my friends at the time. Well, it's late (or early. Again, perspective) and I've scared myself with that story, so I think I'm going to bed. I just have to find me a knife...

REALLY LARGE FONT
Haha, sorry about that. I'm still getting used to the whole blogger thing. I'm not really that good at it yet, but HEY, IT'S OCTOBER! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year! It's always exciting to see people dress up and wear masks, pretending to be people they're not. Wow, there is so much wrong with that sentence grammatically speaking.
But yeah, I can't wait! It's gonna be alot of fun! I'm reading a few creepypastas to get into the spirit of it all. I was reading about "The Rake" but I really find "The holder of the end" to be pretty interesting. It's definitely got the potential to be a great story! It'd be cool to have people continue it on or something, maybe make a tv show out of it. I dunno. My only source of creepypastas is /x/, so you'll have to forgive me if my knowledge is limited.
But yeah, Um...friends of mine that might actually read this blog! Tell me a creepy story! Post a creepy picture! Do something so I'm not just talking to myself! Thunder(my dog, I think I mentioned him in my first blog post) is kind of stupid so he doesn't scare well. He does grin though. It's a really awesome thing that chihuahuas do, passed down from wolves. He only does it with a few of us but he'll grin and bow down, apparently it's called a "submissive grin." So now you know!
But yeah, send me creepy stuff, bloggers! Catcha later!

There's someone in my house! It's me!
Haha, so yeah...I'm actually new to the whole blogging thing. This is just a way for me to vent about whatever, but seriously I thought the title would turn some heads. Got you interested, didn't it? Buwahahahaha! My master plan has come to fruition!
Well I guess the first order of business is to introduce myself. My name shall be withheld because seriously this is the internet. Besides, who wants to use their own boring name on the net? So, for all intents and purposes, you can call me Lionclaw. I know, it's kind of stupid, but seriously what's it matter? I like lions, they're awesome! I couldn't come up with anything else though, so now I guess I sound Native American (which I'm not. I'm Native Texan!)
As if you couldn't guess, I'm from Texas. I won't say where...let's just leave it at around DFW. Again, the internets. Anyway, I'm proud of where I'm from, and I believe Texas is the greatest state in the union! I'm actually not what most people think of when they consider Texans, as in I am not some backwards redneck. I actually went to school and I'm edumacated and stuff! I love my state, it's a great place and I don't ever want to move.
I'm not really "in shape," but I consider round a shape. I'm not extremely overweight but I don't really have any muscles on me or anything. I work at a KFC/gas station/subway hybrid, during the evening shift, which means I get off about ten every night. I like to eat there but I try to avoid getting really fat. I figure eventually one of the pretty girls that come in the store will find the loser behind the counter roguishly handsome and demand marriage on the spot. And she'll be rich too.
I have a dog named Thunder, he's a fat chihuahua. He's actually really big for his type, I think they called it a "bear type" in the olden times. He's a great dog but not the brightest, cause he got beat up by the cat I had at the time when he was little. It's a sad tale, but he's happy so I guess that's all that counts. I call him "Duh" as a nickname, and he does answer to it. Just when I think he's actually kind of smart, he gets stuck behind a door somewhere.
Well, I guess that's it for now, Blogger! Or maybe I should just address teh internets! Oh well. I dunno when I'll update again. I doubt anyone (that includes my friends) will read this. I guess I'll just play with the settings till I figure out how it works...or maybe I'll just play some Red Dead Redemption. It's not like my life's going anywhere...
